Mike Young has been a licensed electrical contractor in the Gallatin Valley for 25+ years and has over 45 years experience in the electrical trade. In the past, he owned and operated Young’s Electrical Service here in Bozeman. After some health issues and major back surgery in late 2013, he closed the company thinking he wasn’t going to be able to work anymore. After a year recovering, Mike decided to try electrical work once again and started Absolute Electric with his wife as his apprentice. As of 2022, Mike’s back issues continuing to be an issue, he has had to cut back on his time working both in the field and in the office. Troubleshooting problems over the phone with customers, scheduling work, and helping Tiffany with the jobs she goes to are now his work life.
Tiffany Young completed her apprenticeship and passed the state test in 2022, achieving the rank of Journeyman Electrician. Over the past 8 years, she has continued to work in the field and also has taken over running all aspects of the office as well. Tiffany is a native Montanan born in Bozeman, grew up in Great Falls, and then has lived in Bozeman since attending MSU right after graduating high school. Having been mechanically-inclined “all” her life, she enjoys learning the electrical trade, interacting with the customers, and seeing the end result of a job well done.
